Fireside Headlines

Although the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) PLATINUM Certification is an extremely prestigious award, Fireside Home Construction's new model home - shown below - has earned a number of other awards as has their President, Robert Burnside.

On July 27, 2007, their new model home was awarded a GOLD Green Built Michigan Certification with a score of 749 points and are one of only 7 Builder Members listed on the Green Built Michigan web-site for the Washtenaw County Area.  http://greenbuiltmichigan.org/Default.aspx?tabid=100

Along with the Platinum LEED and the Gold Green Built Certifications, this model home has also been awarded an Energy Star Rating of 5+ Stars.  Fireside Home Construction has been a Partner with Energy Star since 2004 and are listed under the "Find an Energy Star Builder" on their web-site here https://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?fuseaction=new_homes_partners.showHomesSearch.

Along with all of the awards for the new model home, Fireside Home Construction's owner, Robert Burnside, has earned a Certified Graduate Builder designation from the National Association of Home Builders.

The Green Building philosophy, Energy Efficiency and attention to detail by Bob Burnside and his staff are standard policy for Fireside Home Construction in all of the homes they build.  Simply put - "We build every home as if it were to be our own!"
